About Moses Mawila

I'm Moses, also known as Frozilla. My passion for DJing and producing has  seen me establish a DJ residency at Renate and the release of my debut Track on the record label Mood Waves. And there is more to come.

In recent years, I've deepened my commitment to the Electronic Music Industry and Club Culture, joining organizations like Clubcommission, Berlin Music Commission and VUT. In 2023 I took on a professional role at Clubcommission, managing projects and new event formats for Tag der Clubkultur & Club Culture Hub in Berlin.

With over ten years of experience in label management and A&R, I've  co-founded LowMoneyMusicLove, and launched System Error.

I manage these labels, and their various sub-labels, with a keen ear for talent and timeless sound.

My event management portfolio spans a decade and includes everything  from raves & partys to award shows, variete shows, readings, pop-ups, exhibitions  and workshops. I take pride in every successful event and experience  I've had the pleasure to curate.

2023 marked a milestone year, as I joined forces with a group of  dedicated professionals to form 'Spaceholder - Verein für  gemeinwohlorientierte Raumentwicklung'. Our mission is to create new,  secure, and protect cultural spaces from ongoing gentrification. Both by supporting other collectives and initiatives and by securing our own spaces.

In 2023, I began leveraging my expertise to help others, offering 1:1  artist coaching and providing consultation for labels, collectives and event managers in the club cultural space. Let's collaborate and elevate your professional & artistic journey.

Since 2023, I've channeled my creative drive into designing and creating artworks for various projects like records, events, podcasts, websites and clothing/merchandise.

I am proud to be showcasing these works soon under the name  "S/E-Studio. With more connected projects coming.

Music and storytelling have always been part of my life. With the  Sundowner series, I've been able to blend these passions, interviewing  fascinating individuals and sharing their stories in the context of music while providing a platform for emerging talent.

Having worked mutiple years in the field of artist booking & logistics, some of that time with and for some of the most renowned electronic music artists during that time  has given me extensive knowledge and experience in the fields of booking, negotiations, contracting as well as all logistical & touring related topics.

In my role as a curator, I've had the opportunity to conceptualize and co-curate several big contemporary art group exhibitions. It's a hands-on role that I cherish,  allowing me to fully immerse myself in the artistic process by helping artists to bring their vision to life.

My background in mixology might not be front and center right now, but  the principles it has taught me are still core to my work. Trained in the classic 'American Bar' style, the work ethics of diligence, good hosting,  and teamwork permeate all of my past, current and future endeavors.
