A respected underground imprint. Precision, restraint, and curatorial clarity within house and microhouse culture.
LowMoneyMusicLove was co-founded in 2013 in Frankfurt and Amsterdam. It came together at a time when house and microhouse were sliding into formula, and a small group of people wanted to push back with a label that had a real point of view — slow, precise, restrained, and unbothered by trend cycles.
The catalogue is small by design. Releases are spaced, curated, and visually consistent. The label has become a reference point for a particular kind of careful, club-rooted electronic music — the kind that's still being listened to years after it dropped.
The label has never chased a moment. Releases come out when they're ready, not when the algorithm wants them. Cover art, mastering, vinyl pressing decisions, and artist development all carry the same standard of care.
What that's bought, over a decade, is the only thing that matters for a label like this: trust. Trust from the artists who release there, the people who buy the records, and the DJs who still pull them out of the bag years after they came out.
